By now the news is all over the Internet so I figure it's time to start making predictions. (See here first if you live in a cave -- with an internet connection -- http://philmusic.com/main/content/view/165/1/)
To summarize:
It turns out that Marlboro's plunking down approximately PhP10m in talent fees for the Eraserheads to do a single 45-minute set in the CCP open grounds at the end of August ... which of course immediately set off alarms in my head. 45-minutes is barely enough to do 9 songs if they really rip through it. You're definitely not going to hear the C-level tracks (like my personal favorite "Yoko"), and any jams are going to be pretty brief. So given that we're only talking about 9 songs (maybe 10 if they do an encore), what do you think the set-list will look like? Here're my thoughts:
1. "Huling El Bimbo"
Open strong with a really well-known (one would argue "overused") classic. I'm ok with starting the concert off with this as there's no way they can get away without doing it anyway, so it might as well be at the very beginning.
2. "Alapaap"
Another really overused classic. My fondest memory of this is when the boys played an extra long (15-minute?) jam during a big beauty pageant (was it Binibining Pilipinas 1996?). Ely was lip-syncing out of time on purpose.
3. "Torpedo" or "Overdrive"
I really like the Eraserheads' elseworlds-version of Radiohead's "Creep." The more-likely choice is "Overdrive" though, coz that's pretty much a must-sing.
4. "Magasin"
Possibly the best-written Eraserheads song ever; the punchline towards the end is second to none.
5. "Huwag Mo Nang Itanong"
My all-time favorite Eraserheads song. I still don't quite know what this is about though.
6. "Superproxy"
Ely and Raimund stage a rap-off. In one alternate timeline, the concert will end with Ely suffering another heart-attack and Sandwich fans all shouting "SUGOD!" The eight Pupil fans in the audience look on, silently.
7. "Harana"
I love how this track came out of nowhere years after Cutterpillow and yet sounded like such a signature Eheads song. It's likely that they won't do this one, but I can always dream.
8. "With a Smile"
You know you can't get away with not hearing this one again, right?
9. "Sembreak" or "Toyang"
These two songs are about equal in my mind. What we're doing here is going back in time slowly to set the stage for the encore ...
10. "Pare Ko"
I.E., the song that started it all. Crowd goes wild, lights go dim, Eraserheads cash their checks.

Only a black poster remains with a CD printed on it and the words "SOON" in big white letters. The media hypes the thing up and the band scores billions in album sales, then break up for no apparent reason again. But then they'll repeat the stunt 7 years afterward. LOL
I kid, I kid. As I said, I'm a big fan. :D

hmmm. my 2 cents worth:
1. superproxy - because everybody loves this one
2. walang nagbago - because i like it lol
3. toyang - one of their earliest hits; a classic
4. hard to believe - because this is one of the best english songs they wrote (because you hafta admit, they kinda suck at writing english songs)
5. trip to jerusalem - i like this one
6. yoko - i'm with luuis on this one; one of the awesomest, underrated eheads song ever
7. magasin - nuff said
8. minsan - to get the crowd all senti and shit (i refuse to use emo lest i jinx the concert)
9. huling el bimbo - nuff said (again)
10. with a smile - same goes for this one
wouldn't it be awesome if the 4 of them forgot about the money and the rift as soon as they step onstage and see the sea of people there? they'd say "fuck it" and play not 10, but 25 songs! that would be awesome. (sorry i know i use "awesome" a lot. kungfu panda/jack black addiction)

Even if they'll pay the audience a hundred bucks each, they could easily break even from sponsors. Many big companies will bid they money out to be the major partner I think...
I can just imagine the patronage - any large area won't be enough to accommodate the crowd for sure. I'll bet my my head be cut (not the smaller one), there gonna be a second concert.

1) Superproxy - After a 5 minute soundcheck, break the intro riff from Superproxy, it will damn sure get the crowd pumped up.

4) Poorman's grave
5) Tuwing Umuulan - God I love this song
6) Magasin - A good follow up to Poorman's grave and Tuwing Umuulan

I would love it if they'd extend it to 15 but what the heck.. I'm just glad they'll play for one last time.

@vodka The Eraserheads Project collected 93 unique songs, from what I can tell. If each song were an average 4 mins long, it'd take the band over 6 hours to play every single one, assuming they didn't stop for breaks and there were no pauses between numbers.

I assume that they will have atleast one song from each album...
1. Ligaya - I think this would be a good opener since this is the first single the band released, correct me if I am wrong.
2. Ultra Medley - I remember them doing Maling Akala/Tindahan ni Aling Nena/Shirley medley in one of their concerts. This would be a great act since the time was limited.
3. Ang Huling El Bimbo - this is for sure
4. Alapaap - another all time favorite by many
5. Overdrive - this song made everybody want to learn how to drive making Cutterpillow hit platinum in just one day!
6. Pare kO - this song defined a generation
7. Julie Tearjerky/Trip to Jerusalem - a fruitcake or aloha milky way song?
8. With A Smile - this is my all time favorite
9. Maskara - signifying the death of the Eraserheads???
10 Minsan/Para Sa Masa - Now, I can't decide with this. Minsan giving the senti mode feeling and even telling the story of the reunion. Para Sa Masa coz this is all for them...

my two cents (in no particular order)
1. Tikman - they used it on the burger machine/chippy ad right?)
2. Alapaap or Overdrive - wouldn't be a concert without any of these two
3. Ligaya - please show Kitchie Nadal how it's supposed to be done
4. Minsan - let's get a bit emo in here. they were paid 1M each(?). they can at least fake it
5. With A Smile - and the crowd goes "doodoodoodooooo"
6. Magasin - priceless
7. Shake Yer Head - my first fave track out of the Ultraelectro... casette tape
8. Huwag Mo Nang Itanong - i love how this song makes no sense but yet i can relate to it
9. Ang Huling El Bimbo - wouldn't be a reunion concert without this one too
10. Pare Ko - the ultimate Eheads classic. i still remember how I'd tune the volume low everytime that curse word came and, how my granpa wouldn't buy me Ultraelectromagneticpop because it had this "Parental Advisory" thingy
i'm really looking forward to seeing this, even if I go happy camper on CCP at 4AM to fall in line, also the booze after the concert courtesy of birthday boy Chrisangelo *lol*
